Job Overview
As a Support Worker, you will directly assist individuals with personal care, companionship, errands, meal preparation, medication support, and developmental assistance. This role requires you to support clients either at their homes or within the community. You’ll have the flexibility to work full-time, part-time, or even on a flexible schedule to suit your needs.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and other daily living activities to ensure they maintain dignity and independence.

Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage in meaningful conversations to prevent loneliness and enhance well-being.

Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals in line with clients’ preferences and dietary requirements.

Medication Support: Assist clients with medication reminders and ensure proper administration of prescribed medications.

Errands and Household Tasks: Help clients with tasks such as shopping, laundry, and general housekeeping to maintain a comfortable living environment.

Travel Between Clients: Depending on your shift, you will travel to clients’ homes to provide necessary support. In some cases, live-in care may be required, offering more continuity for both you and the client.
Ideal Candidate

Experience: Previous home care experience is preferred, but not essential. We are happy to provide training for those new to the field.

Education: A-levels or equivalent is desirable but not required.

Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and patience.

Driving License: A full driving license is required, as you will need to travel to different client locations.
