Key Responsibilities You’ll Own

Quote Management & Approvals

  • Collaborate with the Sales team to generate, review, and finalize pricing quotes
  • Validate that all quotes comply with corporate policies and discount structures
  • Ensure all approvals are secured in a timely manner to support sales velocity
  • Maintain records of quote approvals and revisions to support audit trails

Full-Cycle Deal Desk Support

  • Own the deal desk workflow from proposal to signed contract
  • Resolve issues related to pricing inconsistencies, non-standard terms, and order configurations
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on pricing logic, service tiers, and fee structures
  • Actively monitor deals in-flight to avoid delays in signing or miscommunication

Fee Schedule & Revenue Management

  • Manage fee schedules and ensure they align with projected revenue recognition
  • Work with Finance to post and reconcile revenue entries in compliance with accounting standards
  • Flag discrepancies in contract terms that may impact financial projections

Salesforce CRM Oversight

  • Maintain and update Salesforce with accurate deal information including opportunity stages, quote values, and product selections
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure system integrity and clean pipeline data
  • Create automation rules where possible to streamline quote generation and approvals
  • Implement and manage data validation protocols to ensure accurate reporting metrics

Operational Process Enhancement

  • Identify inefficiencies in the current quote-to-cash workflow and recommend improvements
  • Partner with RevOps to design scalable processes for future team expansion
  • Develop playbooks and documentation to guide future Deal Desk hires
  • Introduce automations using Salesforce Flows, Zapier, or CRM integrations to reduce manual errors

Cross-Functional Deal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and RevOps to ensure cohesive deal execution
  • Serve as the communication bridge between field reps and back-office teams
  • Lead deal desk calls when needed to align on high-priority deals or complex terms
  • Provide guidance to new team members and educate Sales staff on quoting best practices

Reporting & Forecasting Alignment

  • Build and maintain dashboards that track approval cycle times, quote accuracy, and deal volume
  • Provide insights to leadership regarding trends in deal performance and bottlenecks
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure forecasting accuracy based on approved quotes
  • Support quarterly planning by analyzing past deal data and pricing performance

What You Need to Bring to the Table

Core Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Deal Desk Operations, Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, or Sales Support
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce CRM, particularly with deal tracking and approval workflows
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with the ability to create pivot tables, v-lookups, and automation scripts
  • Solid understanding of SaaS or B2B pricing models, revenue recognition concepts, and quote management

Valuable Skills

  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, ClickUp, Asana, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for process optimization
