Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Drive the company’s strategic vision and ensure alignment with long-term goals.
  • Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to meet U.S. market and investor expectations.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations across all departments for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Scalability: Develop and implement scalable processes to support growth from 15 to 100+ employees within 12 months.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, retain, and nurture top talent in marketing, design, engineering, and business functions.
  • Culture Building: Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Market Focus: Ensure a strong focus on delivering products for the U.S. market while supporting initiatives for African markets.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze market trends and provide actionable insights to inform product and business strategies.
  • Investor Relations: Support the CEO with investor relations, pitch material preparation, and representing the company.
  • Compliance: Ensure operational adherence to U.S. standards to build credibility with venture capitalists and partners.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in a fast-growing tech or startup environment.
