Key Responsibilities
- Fashion Design: Develop and design original apparel concepts that reflect current fashion trends and align with the brand’s vision.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging styles to inform design decisions.
- Sketching and Illustration: Create detailed sketches and illustrations for new designs, showcasing innovation and creativity.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development and production teams to bring designs to life.
- Material Innovation: Experiment with new materials, patterns, and techniques to enhance the uniqueness of designs.
- Team Participation: Attend team meetings and collaborate effectively to meet project goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma (S.S.C.E) or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a fashion designer or in a similar creative role.
- Skills:
- Strong sketching and illustration abilities.
- Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding of textiles, materials, and garment construction techniques.
- Exceptional creativity and a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to adapt designs to meet consumer and market demands.
