Key Responsibilities of a Domiciliary Care Assistant
As a Female Domiciliary Care Assistant at Ancer Recruitment, your key duties will include:
Personal Care & Support
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support with mobility and transfers to ensure comfort and safety.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with personal care tasks.
Patient-Centered Care
- Deliver compassionate and respectful care tailored to the individual needs of each client.
- Create a positive, supportive environment where clients can feel valued and dignified in their home.
Domestic Support
- Help with light household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Assist with shopping or other errands to ensure clients can maintain their independence.
Communication & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
- Communicate effectively with clients and family members to ensure their needs are met.
Community Engagement
- Take clients to appointments, social activities, or community outings, ensuring they stay connected and active within their community.
Qualifications & Requirements
To succeed as a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will need to meet the following qualifications and experience:
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a similar role as a care worker (preferred).
- Valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel between client homes.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Must be currently living in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent education (preferred).
- Previous experience in home care (preferred).

Work Environment & Shifts
