Key Responsibilities
As a Home Care Assistant at Care South, your key duties will include:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained.
- Medication & Meal Preparation: Support clients with their medication schedules and prepare nutritious meals that meet their individual dietary needs.
- Domestic Services: Help with light housekeeping and domestic chores, ensuring a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Community Visits: Assist with trips to the community, such as shopping, appointments, and leisure activities, enabling clients to maintain their independence.
- Communication: Regularly update the office support team on client progress and communicate any changes in care needs.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about providing care and making a positive impact on the lives of others. Here’s what you need to succeed:
Qualifications & Experience:
- UK Driving Licence & Vehicle: You must hold a UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
- Experience: Previous experience in domiciliary care is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
- Business Insurance: You must either have business insurance for your vehicle or be willing to obtain it.
- Flexible Availability: You should be willing to work flexible hours and be available to work every other weekend.
- Teamwork & Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide the best care possible.
- Desire to Make a Difference: A genuine passion for supporting people and helping them live fulfilling lives.
