Key Responsibilities
As a Space and Data Officer, your role will revolve around day-to-day space management and the maintenance of data related to university facilities. You will work closely with the Space Manager and other departments to ensure that space is effectively utilized, and data is up to date and accurate.

Manage Space Requests: You will be responsible for overseeing space requests, ensuring they are processed efficiently and accurately. This involves checking and updating the CAFM system (Computer Aided Facilities Management), running reports, and liaising with building occupants to gather requirements.

Data Management & Reporting: Utilizing tools like Excel and Power BI, you will handle large data sets, run reports, and analyze trends related to space utilization across the university. Accurate data management will be crucial for strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with Building Support Officers (BSOs), Timetabling, and Health & Safety Services (HSS) to coordinate audits, gather space requirements, and contribute to developing solutions for space-related challenges.

Administrative Support: Help in the coordination of audits and space management processes, maintaining documentation, reviewing policies, and contributing to the development of improved practices.

Process Development: Take an active role in shaping and improving processes associated with space management, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with the university’s strategic goals.
