We are currently hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst (Mid to Senior Level) to join our remote team and contribute to the security and stability of our enterprise systems.

Job Summary

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying cyber threats, mitigating security risks, and ensuring the resilience of IT infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in monitoring security events, preventing breaches, and ensuring compliance with global security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Threat Assessment & Vulnerability Management

• Conduct regular threat assessments and penetration testing to uncover potential security weaknesses.
• Implement vulnerability scanning techniques and prioritize remediation strategies.

Incident Response & Forensics

• Lead incident response efforts, perform forensic analysis, and drive remediation to minimize impact.
• Investigate security breaches and provide in-depth root cause analysis.

Security Protocols & Compliance

• Develop and enforce security protocols aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and recommend best security practices.

Monitoring & Analysis

• Continuously monitor network traffic, firewall activities, and security alerts.
• Investigate unusual activities and ensure early detection of potential threats.

Automation & Scripting

• Automate security operations using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Improve threat detection capabilities with scripting and automation.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage risk and improve security posture.
• Provide clear and actionable reports on security threats, incidents, and resolutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Assurance is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles within enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and incident response.

Certifications (Highly Preferred)

• CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Other relevant certifications such as CISM, CISA are an advantage.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, etc.).
• Strong understanding of firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with encryption standards, VPNs, MFA, and PKI.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Compliance Knowledge

• In-depth understanding of GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS compliance frameworks.
