Maritime Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team in our brand-new school in Frindsbury, Rochester. Your Role & Responsibilities
As an English Teacher at Maritime Academy, you will:
1. Deliver Outstanding Lessons
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and student abilities.
2. Foster Student Achievement
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and productive learning environment.
3. Contribute to Curriculum Development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and refine the English curriculum.
- Stay updated on the latest educational trends and integrate modern teaching practices.
4. Support Student Well-Being & Engagement
- Inspire students to develop confidence in English, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
- Organise and participate in extracurricular activities, such as literary clubs, debates, and writing competitions.
5. Collaborate with Parents & Staff
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress.
