Job Overview

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Deputy Resourcing Manager to join our AFC/Medical Recruitment Team. Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead the resourcing team in attracting high-caliber talent to support both short-term and long-term workforce needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop business strategies for hard-to-recruit positions, focusing on clinical, scientific, and leadership roles.
  • Oversee the Trust’s recruitment advertising strategy, leveraging social media and digital platforms for maximum reach.
  • Manage and support international recruitment initiatives, ensuring compliance with visa and immigration policies and NHS Employers’ best practices.

Operational & Team Management

  • Act as a dynamic and proactive team leader, fostering an inclusive, customer-focused work culture.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance engagement and recruitment efficiency.
  • Continuously improve service delivery by refining standard operating procedures and processes.
  • Work closely with the Resourcing Manager to enhance the department’s performance, quality standards, and compliance.

Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications

Essential:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
  • GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C/Level 4 or above)

Desirable:

  • Evidence of continuous professional development in HR, talent acquisition, or recruitment management

Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Previous experience as a Team Leader/Manager in an NHS recruitment setting
  • Strong performance and stakeholder management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of NHS recruitment standards, visa regulations, and NHS Employers’ guidelines
  • Proficiency in TRAC, ESR, and NHS Jobs platforms
  • Ability to work effectively in high-volume, high-pressure recruitment environments

Desirable:

  • Experience in leading, training, and managing teams while ensuring compliance with HR policies
  • Budget management experience for recruitment operations

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with diverse audiences
