Key Responsibilities
As a Math Teacher & Curriculum Developer, you will play a vital role in shaping our online educational content. Your responsibilities will include:
Curriculum Development & Lesson Planning
- Create interactive lesson plans, slides, and assignments that align with Singapore Primary School Math and Science curriculum standards.
- Design engaging and student-friendly content that simplifies complex math and science concepts.
- Ensure lessons are structured for maximum student engagement and learning retention.
Teaching & Student Engagement
- Conduct online math and science classes as needed, ensuring clear and effective delivery.
- Serve as a substitute teacher in case of staff absences, maintaining the flow of lessons.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies to keep students engaged in an online learning environment.
Continuous Improvement & Research
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and best practices to enhance curriculum effectiveness.
- Regularly review and update lesson materials to maintain relevance and accuracy.
- Explore new ways to integrate interactive learning tools into the curriculum.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with game developers, designers, and educators to create immersive learning experiences.
- Provide input on interactive educational content that enhances student engagement.
- Support the development of multimedia learning resources for better student comprehension.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a dedicated and skilled educator who meets most of the following qualifications:
Educational & Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Math, Science, or a related field.
- Teaching certification in Elementary Math or Science is preferred.
- Proven experience teaching elementary math or science in traditional or online settings.
- Strong familiarity with Singapore Primary School Math and Science curriculum standards or similar international curricula.
Skills & Competencies
- Curriculum development and lesson planning expertise.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging online teaching.
- Proficiency in using online teaching platforms and educational tools.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong English proficiency for clear communication with students and team members.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience working in an EdTech startup or online learning environment.
- Knowledge of interactive and gamified learning methodologies.
- Experience with content creation tools like Canva, Google Slides, or digital whiteboards.

Probation & Performance Evaluation
- The position includes a 3-month probation period, during which your performance and team fit will be evaluated monthly.
