RF Bakery is launching a brand-new bakery in Bolton, and we’re looking for a skilled baker to join our growing team. With a reputation for delicious brunch and viral desserts, RF Café has already made a mark in Bolton, Blackburn, and Manchester. Now, we’re taking things to the next level with our dedicated bakery!
About the Role
As a Skilled Baker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, handcrafted baked goods that set us apart. You’ll play a key role in producing and perfecting croissants, sourdough, patisserie, and artisan bread while contributing to recipe development and maintaining exceptional baking standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Baking Excellence – Prepare and bake croissants, sourdough, artisan bread, and pastries to a consistently high standard.
- Recipe Innovation – Assist in the development of new products and seasonal menu items.
- Quality Ingredients – Work with premium ingredients to create fresh and flavorful baked goods.
- Operational Efficiency – Maintain smooth workflow in a fast-paced bakery environment.
- Hygiene & Organization – Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards at all times.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with other bakers and staff to ensure efficient daily production.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, we’re seeking a passionate, skilled baker who takes pride in their craft. The ideal candidate should have:
Required Skills & Experience
- Professional baking experience with a focus on croissants and sourdough.
- Strong technical skills in lamination, proofing, and dough shaping.
- A deep understanding of fermentation techniques and artisan bread baking.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or patisserie.
- Formal culinary or baking qualifications (preferred but not required).
