You will play a crucial role in creating high-quality visual content for digital and print media, as well as contributing to game design projects.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Branding
- Design logos, websites, brochures, social media graphics, and marketing materials that align with brand guidelines.
- Research design trends and create visually compelling digital and print content.
- Develop color schemes, typography, and brand aesthetics that enhance user experience.
- Prepare detailed specifications, sketches, mock-ups, and scale drawings for projects.
Multimedia & Game Artistry
- Create 2D and 3D assets for game design, including characters, environments, and visual effects.
- Develop concept art, prototypes, and animations for game development.
- Collaborate with game developers to enhance in-game visual experiences.
Client Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with clients to understand project objectives and create design solutions that meet their needs.
- Ensure designs meet budgetary constraints and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs with other project elements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background
- A Foundation Course, BTEC/SQA Award, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Game Artistry, or a related field.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with 3D design software such as Blender, Autodesk Maya, and Cinema 4D.
- Familiarity with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles for interactive digital content.
Professional Experience
- Previous experience in graphic design, multimedia design, or the gaming industry is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Desirable Skills
- Animation skills and experience with motion graphics.
- Knowledge of branding, color theory, and typography.
- Understanding of visual effects and rendering techniques.
