Key Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Sprayer and SMART Repair Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition with high-quality repairs. Your main duties will include:
Vehicle Spraying & Refinishing
- Performing extensive spray and panel repairs with precision.
- Accurately color-matching and blending paints to achieve a flawless finish.
- Applying primer, basecoat, and clear coat using industry-standard techniques.
- Using and maintaining spray booths, tools, and repair equipment to high standards.
SMART Repair & Cosmetic Restoration
- Conducting minor dent repairs and cosmetic touch-ups efficiently.
- Repairing scuffs, scratches, and minor bodywork damage using SMART repair techniques.
- Assessing damage and providing cost-effective repair solutions.
Quality Control & Compliance
- Conducting pre-repair inspections and post-repair quality checks to ensure work meets safety and manufacturer standards.
- Following health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Ensuring compliance with customer specifications and UK automotive repair guidelines.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a highly experienced Vehicle Sprayer and SMART Repair Technician with a strong background in vehicle refinishing, paint correction, and dent repairs.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle spraying, paint refinishing, and SMART repairs.
- Expertise in color-matching, blending, and refinishing techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess and repair various types of vehicle damage.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering top-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
- Own set of tools required for vehicle spraying and panel repair.
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
