- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on healthcare best practices and regulations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Care Plan Proficiency: Experience in creating and following individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- IT Skills: Basic proficiency in maintaining electronic patient records and communicating within the healthcare system.
- Fluency in English: Strong command of English for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Previous Care Experience: Preferred experience in a care home or home care setting.
- Valid Driver’s License: Beneficial for assisting patients with transportation needs.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build trust and rapport with patients and their families, providing compassionate and attentive care.
