Key Responsibilities of a Support Worker

As a Support Worker at Potters Independent Living Ltd, your role will be vital in ensuring that our clients live independently and receive the support they need. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Personal Care Assistance

  • Helping clients with bathing, dressing, and other personal hygiene tasks to ensure they maintain a high standard of cleanliness and dignity.

  • Assisting with mobility support for clients with physical impairments, ensuring they can move safely around their homes.

Meal Preparation and Support

Essential Requirements

To be eligible for the Support Worker position, you must meet the following qualifications and criteria:

Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in home care or similar settings is preferred. If you are new to care work, we still encourage you to apply as we provide full training.

  • Education: An A-Level or equivalent education is preferred but not mandatory.

Licensing and Skills

  • Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel between clients’ homes.
