Role Overview
As a Support Worker at Cintre, you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable adults with learning difficulties. Your responsibility is to provide high-quality, person-centred care tailored to the individual needs and preferences of each client. You will assist individuals in becoming more independent by offering structured, therapeutic support, helping them engage in community activities and fostering meaningful social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Person-Centred Support: Provide a personalized approach to support, focusing on enhancing the independence of each client and supporting their individual needs.
- Health and Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and health needs, particularly for those with limited mobility or complex learning needs.
- Teamwork and Lone Working: Work both independently and as part of a team. Stay alert and remain awake throughout shifts, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Client Dignity and Safety: Protect the dignity and individuality of each client while maintaining a secure environment for everyone, including staff and visitors.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete daily records, following care plans and procedures to monitor and report on the clients’ well-being and progress.
- Support During Night Shifts: Provide support to clients during the night as required, ensuring their needs are met, including assisting with mobility aids.
About You
We are looking for individuals who have either experience or a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals with complex needs. If you are dedicated to providing care and support in a person-centred manner, we want to hear from you!
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in supporting vulnerable adults, particularly those with learning difficulties or complex health needs, is preferred but not essential.
- A background in Health and Social Care is beneficial but not required.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good written communication skills for completing records and notes.
- Proficient in IT for record-keeping and following company policies.
- Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Work Schedule:
- Full-Time: 40-42 hours per week.
