Care South, a leading not-for-profit charity, is seeking compassionate and experienced Specialist Home Care Assistants to join our Somerset Care at Home team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to clients in their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. This community-based role requires a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates with at least 12 months of care experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to enable clients to maintain independence.
- Assist clients with personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing.
- Support clients in building confidence and regaining independence.
- Uphold clients’ dignity and provide empathetic care tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication with the care team.
About You
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months in a similar care role.
- Driving Requirements: UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Flexible availability, including weekend shifts.
- DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
