Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum pro rata + 5% basic salary (minimum £1,258, maximum £2,122)
Recruitment Incentive: Golden Hello of £3,500 (£1,500 on commencement and £2,000 after one year; terms and conditions apply).

Key Responsibilities
- Provide recovery-focused care to adults with mental health issues, emphasizing choice, control, and independence.
- Deliver assessments, care planning, and coordination of care from a social perspective.
- Conduct safeguarding inquiries and implement care plans to protect vulnerable individuals.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments aligned with the Care Act 2014.
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion while challenging discrimination.
- Maintain a caseload addressing diverse mental health and social care needs.
- Champion social care, addressing adversity, and preventing social exclusion.
- Potential opportunity to train as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) or contribute to the AMHP rota if qualified.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Professional social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
- Strong post-qualification experience in mental health social work.
- Knowledge of legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
- Experience in assessments, care planning, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
Desirable:
- AMHP or Best Interests Assessor training and experience.
- Familiarity with personal budgets and direct payments.
