Position: Social Worker
Location: United Kingdom (Mid Essex – Chelmsford)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: £37,338 – £44,962 per annum
We are seeking motivated and resourceful Social Workers to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Treatment Teams in Mid Essex. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to positively impact the lives of service users by promoting recovery, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality assessments and interventions for individuals experiencing diverse mental health challenges.
- Promote recovery using strength-based approaches and social inclusion frameworks.
- Fulfill statutory duties under the Care Act (2014) by conducting personalized, strengths-based assessments.
- Support service users in identifying appropriate pathways and treatment plans using Mental Health Care Clusters.
- Engage with service users’ families and carers while delivering interventions that align with legal frameworks.
- Pursue AMHP (Approved Mental Health Professional) training (if not already certified) and contribute to MHA assessments.

Essential Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in community mental health services.
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act (2014) and recovery-focused approaches.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
