Key Responsibilities
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
Maintenance & Repair

Carry out repairs and maintenance across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems within the hospital facilities.

Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on complex building systems.

Manage building infrastructure and ensure all systems comply with the necessary health and safety regulations.
Planned Preventative Maintenance

Follow and execute planned maintenance schedules, ensuring all systems and equipment are regularly checked, tested, and inspected.

Maintain detailed logs of all inspections and repairs, adhering to HTM and HBN guidance.
Team Collaboration

Work closely with the Estates Management team to improve the overall performance of healthcare buildings and systems.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure minimal disruption to hospital operations while carrying out maintenance work.
Emergency Response

Participate in on-call rota and emergency response as required, ensuring that any urgent issues are addressed promptly.

Essential Criteria

Fully qualified in your core trade (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry).

Experience in building maintenance and fault diagnosis.

Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards (HTM, HBN, etc.).
