Rain Digital is a digital agency headquartered in Canada, with team members across Canada, Europe, and the US. We specialize in building websites, running digital marketing campaigns, and consulting on digital strategies for clients, primarily in the not-for-profit sector.
Position: Senior UX/UI Designer
Location: Remote (Work From Home)
Salary: $50,000 – $74,999 USD per year
Key Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the design process from start to finish, ensuring thoughtful and user-centered experiences.
- Collaborative Design: Work closely with product managers and developers to create effective user experiences.
- Visual Design Creation: Develop wireframes, user flows, and high-quality visual designs.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch (preferred), Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Design Expertise: Strong understanding of user-centered design and usability principles.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Bonus Skills: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Additional Information
- Initial Projects: We typically start with a project or two on a retainer basis to ensure a mutual fit. We are open to a more formal arrangement thereafter or continuing with freelancers and small design teams on an ongoing basis.
