Key Responsibilities
1. Packaging Design
- Create innovative and market-ready packaging designs for various products.
- Ensure designs align with brand values and appeal to target audiences.
2. Brand Development
- Work with product managers to refine and expand brand identities.
- Ensure branding is distinctive, legally compliant, and resonates with customers.
3. Visual Branding
- Collaborate with professional photographers and CGI artists to create stunning marketing visuals.
- Deliver high-impact product visuals that enhance brand awareness.
4. Product Storytelling
- Develop designs that translate product concepts into compelling packaging and branding.
- Effectively communicate product value to consumers through visual elements.
5. Collaboration
- Partner with product managers to refine designs based on feedback.
- Collaborate with CAD and CGI designers to ensure flawless execution of 3D renderings.
6. Sales-Driven Design
- Use sales data to continually improve branding and packaging strategies.
- Ensure designs contribute to tangible business growth and market differentiation.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in graphic design, with a focus on packaging, branding, or product marketing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in packaging, branding, and product-related designs.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to create designs that are both visually stunning and functionally effective.
- Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Eligibility: Eligible for full-time employment in the UK.
- Bonus Skills: Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical branding (preferred but not required).
Design Task
As part of the application process, candidates are required to complete a design task:
Task: Create a New Brand and Packaging Concept for Toothpaste
1. Brand Development
- Create a unique brand identity, including a name, logo, tagline, and values.
- Highlight what makes the brand unique and how it stands out from competitors.
2. Packaging Design
- Design visually appealing and innovative packaging that resonates with the target audience.
- Include essential product information and ensure the design communicates the brand’s story.
3. Market Positioning
- Explain the target demographic, competitors, and product positioning in terms of price and quality.
4. Innovation
- Think outside the box and challenge conventional toothpaste packaging.
Submission
- Provide mockups or prototypes (digital or physical) in a PDF format.
- Include a brief narrative explaining your design choices.
- Submit your completed task to info@jfamedical.co.uk by midnight, February 17th, 2025.

Location
The office location is initially at 99 Bishopsgate, London EC2M 3XD, but the permanent workspace will be in the Shoreditch area. Shoreditch is a vibrant creative hub with excellent transport links, making it an ideal place to work and thrive.
Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to London prior to the start date.
Schedule and Work Details
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (42.5 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break).
- Expected Start Date: March 3rd, 2025.
