Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Data Management: Collect, validate, and integrate data from various sources, including electronic patient records, clinical systems, and national datasets.
- Analysis & Insights: Apply statistical methods (e.g., regression, clustering, forecasting) to analyze and interpret data, delivering actionable insights.
- Data Presentation: Create and share engaging reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored to diverse audiences (e.g., clinicians, managers, regulators).
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve data quality issues, proposing solutions to improve data integrity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Respond to ad hoc requests and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Tools & Technologies: Utilize advanced data analysis tools, including SQL, Excel, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the development of data standards, governance frameworks, and quality assurance processes.

Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- A degree or equivalent qualification.
- Proven expertise in data analysis within a healthcare setting, with a solid understanding of NHS data sources and standards.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods (e.g., regression, clustering).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
