Key Responsibilities of a Senior Care Worker
As a Senior Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care and support to service users in their homes. Your duties will vary based on the individual needs of the service users, but some key responsibilities include:
- Personal Care Support: Assisting service users with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs.
- Medication Assistance: Helping service users manage their medications, ensuring proper use and adherence to care plans.
- Meal Support: Assisting with meal preparation, ensuring service users receive nutritious food and adequate hydration.
- Mobility Assistance: Helping with transfers using the appropriate equipment and supporting individuals with mobility challenges.
- Home Environment Maintenance: Supporting service users in maintaining a clean and safe home environment.
- Escort to Appointments and Outings: Escorting service users to medical appointments or social outings to ensure they remain active and engaged.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Referring service users to other professionals as necessary and ensuring care plans are followed to the highest standards.

Visit Schedule
Your visits will be scheduled in the mornings, lunchtime, tea time, and at bedtime. Your first visit may start at 7 AM, and you will follow the agreed visit times to ensure consistent care for each service user.

Experience and Skills:
- Previous Care Experience: Experience in home care or a similar field is highly beneficial. However, full training and ongoing support will be provided.
