Job Overview
As a Remote Video Editor at BAD Marketing, you will be a key player in our content creation team. Your role involves creating high-quality video content tailored for platforms like Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube. You will collaborate with various departments to develop engaging visual content that drives results.
Key Responsibilities
- Create High-Quality Content: Develop and produce engaging short-form and long-form video content for multiple social media platforms.
- Tailored Video Strategy: Adapt video content to align with each platform’s specific requirements and audience behaviors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal content team and other departments to bring ideas to life.
- Video Editing Proficiency: Use industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) to edit, enhance footage, add effects, and deliver polished final products.
- Storytelling Expertise: Apply storytelling principles to convey brand messages effectively through visual content.
- Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends and social media algorithms to optimize content for maximum engagement and conversion.
- Incorporate Feedback: Continuously improve content quality by integrating team feedback and constructive criticism.
- Efficient Workload Management: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a video editor, ideally in a marketing or digital agency setting.
- Proficiency: Strong skills in video editing software (Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Social Media Knowledge: Experience in creating content for various platforms, with an understanding of their unique nuances.
- Creativity and Problem-Solving: Strong creative and critical thinking skills.
- Multitasking Ability: Handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines efficiently.
- Portfolio: Must provide a portfolio showcasing recent work (within the past year).
- Technical Requirements: Must have high-speed internet and a reliable computer. For remote applicants, provide detailed computer specifications to ensure smooth workflow.
- Thumbnail Design Experience: A plus but not required.
