Job Title: Tech Team Lead

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Salary: NGN 250,000 per month

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tech Team Lead to spearhead the technical development and launch of our platform. This role is essential for guiding our tech team, ensuring high-quality outputs, and implementing effective project management practices.

The ideal candidate will have a robust technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for creating top-notch digital products in the travel industry.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of product and software engineers.
  • Agile Methodologies: Implement and oversee Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and manage sprint planning and execution.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control on all team outputs to ensure excellence in product delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams to align tech development with overall business goals.
  • Technical Strategy: Drive the technical strategy and roadmap for the platform.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop team members to foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
  • Project Management: Ensure timely completion of all tasks and projects.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to travel tech.
  • Project Tracking: Utilize Jira for project tracking, issue management, and sprint planning.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the tech industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in software development and technology.
  • Agile Methodology: Full knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM and working in sprints.
  • Project Management: Experience in project management and planning is a plus.
  • Quality Assurance: Proven experience in quality control and ensuring high standards in product development.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a tech team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Jira Proficiency: Proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Certification: PMP or similar certifications.
  • Technical Certifications: Relevant technical certifications in software development or related fields.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the travel industry and digital travel platforms.
