Job Title: Staff Solutions Architect – Insurance
Location: 100% Remote, Work From Anywhere
Salary: $160k-$215k per year
About The Role
As a Solutions Architect on our Solutions team, you will:
Solution Delivery
- Lead Design & Implementation: Oversee the design and implementation of complex solutions for both new and existing clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with developers, engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of proposed solutions.
- Project Management: Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements, while managing project risks and issues.
Client Engagement
- Technical Point of Contact: Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, understanding their needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Workshops & Discovery Sessions: Conduct sessions to gather requirements and provide expert guidance on technical aspects.
Product Organization Liaison
- Client Requirements: Communicate client requirements and feature requests to product managers and development teams.
- Product Planning: Participate in product planning sessions, providing insights on technical feasibility and scalability.
Pre-Sales Support
- Sales Collaboration: Work with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
- Value Proposition: Help articulate the value of proposed solutions and address technical concerns during the sales process.
Technical Demos
- Develop & Deliver: Create engaging technical demonstrations to showcase product capabilities.
- Tailor Demonstrations: Customize demos to address specific client needs and use cases.
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge Maintenance: Stay updated on company product offerings, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Thought Leadership: Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to enhance offerings and improve client satisfaction.
Team Collaboration & Mentoring
- Best Practices: Share best practices, lessons learned, and technical insights with other solutions architects and technical teams.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
What We Need
- Experience: 5+ years as a Solutions Architect or Product Manager delivering complex solutions, with a focus on automation or technical integration.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in the Insurance domain.
- Client Engagement: Proven experience delivering demos and managing relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Technical Challenges: Comfort with complex technical challenges and strong analytical skills.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- Technical Background: Previous experience in a strictly technical role (e.g., software engineer) is useful but not required.
