About the Role
Our client seeks an innovative Social Media Specialist with hospitality industry experience and a knack for integrating sustainable messaging across various platforms. As a brand champion, you will craft and manage content for email, web, editorial, digital media, and social media, ensuring alignment with company values and promotion of the product portfolio.
Job Title: Social Media Specialist
Location: 100% Remote, Work From Anywhere
Salary: $1K – $1.3K per month
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Champion: Ensure compliance across all communication touchpoints.
- Content Development: Craft multimedia copy content for web/eCommerce, social media, digital media, reputation management, extranets, email marketing, and Google Business.
- Social Media Management: Develop and manage the social media content calendar, publish content, and report on social performance monthly.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with the Marketing Team to plan and execute creative marketing strategies.
- Creative Content: Ensure all content aligns with company brand and revenue goals.
- Website Management: Update website copy content, following website guidelines.
- SEO Support: Craft digital and blog copy content to enhance SEO capabilities.
- Product Content Management: Update current product content across all available channels.
- Internal Communications: Provide creative support for internal documents, newsletters, training, and SOP materials.
- Partnerships: Explore partnerships to increase social engagement.
- B Corp Initiatives: Craft design content for B Corp partnership and initiatives.
- Asset Management: Maintain an asset library of content including video design, image graphics, general graphic design, email templates, print/collateral, and signage.

Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of two years in creative writing within the travel/hospitality industry. Preferably knowledgeable about B Corporations and sustainable messaging.
Design Skills:
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Reader/Pro, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Experience with Google Suite (Sheets / Docs / Slides).
- Familiarity with Monday.com or other project management software.
- Knowledge of HTML and WordPress.
- Some experience with Adobe CC programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
