Our client, a leading company in the vacation properties sector with a portfolio of stunning properties across the US and internationally, is looking for a talented Social Media Manager to enhance their brand’s online presence. In this role, you’ll develop and execute innovative social media strategies that drive organic bookings and engage a global audience.
Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: 100% Remote (Work From Home)
Salary: $1,000 – $1,700 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy:
- Develop and implement tailored social media strategies to increase visibility and drive organic bookings for each property.
- Collaborate with the Head of Digital to ensure alignment with broader marketing goals and content pillars.
- Content Creation:
- Design visual assets using Canva and edit video reels that showcase the unique features of vacation properties.
- Create compelling content that tells a story, highlights guest experiences, and resonates with the target audience.
- Community Engagement:
- Manage social media profiles, actively engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and fostering a community of travel enthusiasts.
- Build a positive brand image that encourages direct bookings and customer loyalty.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor social media performance using analytics tools, measuring the effectiveness of strategies.
- Refine tactics based on insights to optimize content and improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Market Trends:
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media, particularly within the travel and hospitality industry.
- Apply innovative ideas to keep content fresh, relevant, and appealing.
What Success Looks Like
- Increased Engagement: Significant growth in likes, shares, comments, and direct messages across all social media platforms.
- Higher Booking Rates: A notable increase in organic bookings for each vacation property.
- Strong Online Community: A vibrant and interactive online community that actively engages with the brand and expresses interest in the properties.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 3+ years of social media management experience, preferably in travel, hospitality, or real estate sectors.
- A portfolio demonstrating your ability to design assets and edit video content is required.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Canva, video editing software, and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of social media trends and digital marketing strategies.
- Creativity and Innovation:
- Exceptional creativity in content creation, with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
- Ability to produce compelling visuals and video content that captures the essence of luxury vacation experiences.
- Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective audience engagement and team collaboration.
- Organizational Skills:
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties’ social media accounts and meet deadlines.
