Join our Brand Partnerships team in Business Development as a Senior Sales Executive, focusing on core consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. You’ll drive growth through relationship building, solution selling, and strategic influence.

- Achieve Goals: Meet individual and team sales targets and net margin goals.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with CPG advertisers.
- Sales Strategy: Create data-driven sales collateral, case studies, and custom stories to demonstrate the benefits of Instacart’s platform.
- Strategic Planning: Lead annual planning and budgeting with Fortune 100 accounts.
- Proposal Creation: Develop proposals for multi-million dollar contracts in digital advertising.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (account management, analytics, product, engineering) to shape product monetization strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- CPG Experience: Solid understanding of the CPG environment or similar through direct sales or exposure.
- Sales Expertise: Experience in fast-paced sales environments with contract values ranging from $100k to $1MM.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver compelling presentations to potential and current clients.
- Detail-oriented: High attention to detail with strong execution skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel), Google Drive Suite, Salesforce.
- Data Analysis: Experience with large datasets; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Periscope preferred.
- Client Management: Strong client service orientation with a sense of urgency.
- Travel: Openness to travel up to 40-60%.

- Sales Success: Consistent history of achieving sales quotas and building strong client relationships.
Instacart offers competitive compensation and benefits based on location, including a Sales Incentive Plan. For US-based candidates, base pay ranges are as follows:
- CA, NY, CT, NJ: $140,000—$155,000 USD
- WA: $134,000—$149,000 USD
- OR, DE, ME, MA, MD, NH, RI, VT, DC, PA, VA, CO, TX, IL, HI: $129,000—$143,000 USD
- All other states: $116,000—$129,000 USD
