Position: Project Coordinator (Contract)
Location: Remote, US
Salary: $35 – $40 per hour
Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the development of print and digital products for our K-5 Core Literacy programs. This contract position involves managing schedules, providing tactical support to project management and internal teams, and coordinating with vendor partners to ensure deadlines are met. This role is ideal for someone interested in advancing their career in project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily tasks and deliverables for print and digital projects.
- Understand workflows, dependencies, and team roles.
- Maintain and track project schedules and milestones.
- Facilitate file handoffs to partners.
- Assist in documenting risks, issues, decisions, and change management.
- Attend status meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
- Review vendor estimates and invoices.
- Recommend process improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in educational publishing.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at various levels.
- Interest in a career in project management.
- Spanish language fluency (bonus).
Compensation
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $35 to $40.
