Job Position: Product Advocate, Developer Platform

Location: 100% Remote (US & UK)

Salary: Salary: $176,000 Annually

About the Role

As a Product Advocate at Cloudflare, you will support customers on the Developer Platform, helping them scale product adoption and discover new use cases. This customer-facing role involves enhancing customer retention and engagement, working towards the goal of establishing contractual commitments. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Self Serve, Product, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and GTM, to expand our developer business strategically.

Responsibilities

  • GTM Expertise: Serve as a go-to-market expert in our Developer Platform, focusing on Storage Products (e.g., R2, D1, KV, Durable Objects), Application and Compute (e.g., Pages and Workers), Media (e.g., Images and Stream), and AI (e.g., Workers AI, Vectorize, AI Gateway).
  • Customer Engagement: Identify ideal use cases for developer customers, expand customer consumption, and minimize churn through high-touch account coverage.
  • Campaigns: Run targeted campaigns with developer marketing teams to increase usage and promote new product adoption.
  • Collaboration: Work with Developer Advocacy and Marketing to convert developer awareness into customer engagement through events, webinars, and customer case studies.
  • Startup Program Support: Enhance the experience for Startup Program participants from onboarding to completion.
  • Sales Collaboration: Support Developer Pay-As-You-Go customers and work with Account Executives on contract commitments when required.
  • Insights: Provide regular updates on customer trends and stories to the Developer GTM Team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years in Cloud Sales, preferably with developer-centric selling.
  • Independent and self-motivated with excellent time management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, Tableau, Big Query, BoostUp is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large data sets.
  • Proven ability to nurture and grow customer relationships long-term.

Compensation

  • Colorado-based hires: $176,000 – $216,000 annually.
  • New York City, Washington, and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: $184,000 – $224,000 annually.
  • Bay Area-based hires: $194,000 – $237,000 annually.

Compensation may vary depending on work location.
