Project Growth is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Procurement Specialist to support a leading procurement technology platform. Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Engagement
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring all their procurement needs are met promptly and efficiently. Your tasks will involve:
- Communicating through email, phone calls, and Slack messages.
- Addressing customer inquiries, needs, and negotiations.
- Providing exceptional behind-the-scenes support via the client’s platform.
Operational & Administrative Tasks
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operational processes by handling the day-to-day procurement tasks, such as:
- Managing procurement workflows.
- Assisting in tracking procurement and contract negotiation requests.
- Ensuring all administrative processes are executed with precision.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management
A significant part of your role will be to manage relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for:
- Coordinating with suppliers to resolve procurement issues.
- Ensuring that all parties involved in procurement processes are aligned and satisfied.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
This role requires you to work closely with Account Managers and internal teams to:
- Share feedback to optimize the customer experience.
- Enhance operational efficiencies by collaborating across departments.
Process Coordination
Efficiently handling contract negotiations is key to success in this role. You’ll assist in:
- Tracking procurement requests.
- Gathering information and facilitating contract negotiations.
- Managing data entry tasks with a high level of detail and accuracy.

- Seamless Customer Support: You’ll be able to handle customer requests promptly, ensuring smooth procurement operations.
- Effective Supplier Coordination: Efficiently managing interactions with suppliers and resolving any issues quickly.
- Strong Internal Collaboration: Communication with Account Managers and teams to ensure smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
- Operational Efficiency: Completing tasks with a focus on accuracy while continuously identifying ways to streamline processes.
Qualifications
Experience
- A minimum of 2+ years in customer support or client success roles, especially within a procurement, SaaS, or operational environment.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships, with a focus on both external suppliers and internal teams.
Skills
- Fluent English communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for professional customer interactions.
- Proficiency with Slack, Google Suite, and other business tools.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and operational coordination skills.
