About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Executive Assistant to join our esteemed law firm located in the USA. In this role, you will provide crucial support to our attorneys, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional client service.

Job Position: Legal Executive Assistant

Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Pay: $500 to $700 USD per month

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Prepare and format legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal formatting standards.
  • Maintain accurate and organized physical and electronic filing systems for legal documents and case files.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys.

Client Interaction

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing professional and courteous service.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and attorneys, ensuring timely updates and responsiveness.
  • Collect and organize client information, documents, and case-related materials.

Legal Research and Drafting

  • Assist attorneys with legal research tasks, utilizing online databases and library resources.
  • Draft routine legal documents, such as correspondence, memoranda, and basic pleadings, under the supervision of attorneys.
  • Cite-check legal documents and ensure proper formatting and compliance with legal citation styles.

Case Management

  • Organize and maintain case files, ensuring thorough documentation and accessibility.
  • Monitor deadlines, court dates, and statutory requirements for assigned cases.
  • Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a related role within a law firm or legal environment.
  • Proficiency in legal terminology, procedures, and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, legal databases).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with legal research techniques and resources.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
