Pay Rate: $1.30 per minute transcribed / $0.75 per minute for review (paid via AirTm)
Job Description
We are seeking meticulous individuals to join our team as long-form transcriptionists and reviewers. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing long-form audio recordings into written text in your native language, Kalabari. Reviewers will ensure the accuracy of transcriptions through meticulous double-checking of the original transcriptionist’s work.
Responsibilities
- Transcription: Listen to and transcribe lengthy audio recordings into written text with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Formatting: Ensure transcripts are formatted correctly and adhere to specified guidelines.
- Reviewing: Verify the accuracy of transcriptions by comparing them against the original audio, correcting any errors or discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Kalabari: Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
- Strong Listening Skills: Ability to comprehend diverse accents and speech patterns.
- Experience: Previous experience in transcription or a related field.
- Detail-Oriented: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
