Responsibilities
- HR Leadership: Partner with leaders across the organization, providing HR thought leadership and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and strategic initiatives.
- Employee Experience: Champion a positive employee experience by handling sensitive employee matters, providing coaching, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with HR teams to align HR practices with organizational goals and execute strategic initiatives effectively.
- Data Analysis: Analyze HR data to derive insights and trends, making recommendations that drive business decisions and enhance employee satisfaction.
- Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring HR practices meet regulatory requirements.
- Project Participation: Engage in additional projects as required, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in Employee Relations or HR/People function with expertise in performance management, leaves administration, and employee coaching.
- Legal Knowledge: Proficiency in federal and state employment laws including FLSA, ADA, FMLA, etc.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Leadership: Previous leadership experience strongly preferred, with proven ability to manage in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization.
- Analytical Skills: Critical thinking ability to navigate complex HR situations and provide effective solutions.
- Empathy and Emotional Intelligence: Ability to build strong connections and handle conflicts with empathy and objectivity.
