Role Overview:
As a Sales Development Representative at Canonical, you will be part of a growing and profitable organization that is considered the best technology sales academy in the market. This role is ideal for individuals who are organized, persistent, charismatic, and hard-working. You will collaborate with a regional sales and marketing team to identify customer projects that fit our product lines and promote Canonical across various industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Handle inbound customer inquiries across email, phone, and chat.
- Sales & Marketing Campaigns: Execute outbound sales and marketing campaigns.
- Event Participation: Travel to events and conferences worldwide, presenting at booths and driving face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work directly with marketing on campaigns and collaborate across multiple teams and senior stakeholders to drive results.
- Research: Research information about prospective customers and market trends.
- Pipeline Generation: Generate a multi-million pound pipeline by identifying prospects and new opportunities.
- Account Management: Liaise with new and existing customers, set up and attend meetings, and actively map accounts to identify new opportunities.
- Lead Management: Accurately create, update, maintain, and nurture leads on global opportunities.
