Internship Overview
Position: Remote Frontend Development Intern
Location: Remote (Work From Home)
Duration: September to December 2024 cohort
We invite dynamic, creative, and energetic individuals to join our Flexisaf Internship Program, designed to impart tech skills in Software Development. This program is ideal for:
- Students seeking SIWES placements
- Recent graduates seeking NYSC placement
- Graduates seeking post-NYSC experience
- Students seeking industry experience
- Anyone interested in upskilling and starting a career in tech
Note: This is an unpaid opportunity, except for Youth Corp Members. Participants must have a working laptop and internet access to engage fully in the program.
Program Structure
- Learning Approach: Self-study with a well-structured and curated curriculum.
- Mentorship: Guided by experienced leaders and mentors.
- Project Work: Real-life solutions with progress monitoring and supervision.
- Skill Development: Gain soft skills and industry-specific knowledge.
Responsibilities
- UI Design: Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaboration: Work with Agile teams and stakeholders to develop user-centered solutions.
- Prototyping: Develop storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.
- User Research: Participate in research and analyze user behavior.
- Sprint Participation: Engage in planning, retrospectives, and iteration reviews.
- UI Testing: Design and test UI elements for web and mobile platforms.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Analytical skills and proficiency in mathematics.Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
- Ability to work in a team and a willingness to learn.
- Application of computer science or software engineering knowledge to real-world challenges.
Additional Requirements for NYSC Category:
- Further assessment and work with our Product Teams during the service year.
