We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team remotely. This role will involve working closely with our CFOs to analyze financial data, build advanced financial models, and generate insights that directly contribute to better decision-making. Role Overview
As a Financial Analyst at Project Growth, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable insights to guide decision-making processes. You will support our CFOs by ensuring data accuracy, assisting with financial systems integration, and delivering reports that meet client expectations. Your work will directly impact strategic decisions, making your role crucial to the firm’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Data Modeling

Create Advanced Financial Models: Utilize Excel to build and maintain complex financial models, such as cash flow forecasts, balance sheets, and profit & loss projections. Your models will guide key financial decisions for social enterprises and non-profits.

Driver-Based Financial Models: Develop models that incorporate key business drivers, ensuring they are forward-looking and aligned with the strategic goals of clients.
Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze Financial Data: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across systems.

Create Detailed Reports: Deliver comprehensive financial reports that summarize performance, trends, and projections, enabling actionable insights for decision-makers.
QuickBooks Integration

Work with QuickBooks: Collaborate with the finance team to integrate and analyze financial data from QuickBooks and other financial systems, ensuring seamless data flow and accurate reporting.

Data Storage & Collaboration: Maintain and store financial data on platforms like Google Drive, ensuring it is easily accessible and well-organized.
Client Satisfaction

Meet Client Needs: Ensure all financial models and reports are aligned with the specific needs of the CFOs and clients. Deliver insights that are not only accurate but also actionable.

Ongoing Support for CFOs: Act as a resource for CFOs, assisting them in analyzing financial data and providing strategic insights to guide business decisions.
Qualifications
Experience

2+ Years in Financial Analysis: At least two years of experience in financial modeling, data analysis, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A), ideally with a background in investment banking.

Strong Excel Skills: Must be proficient in creating complex, driver-based financial models using Excel, including forecasting and budgeting models.

Advanced Analytical Skills: You should have a keen ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and interpret data to provide valuable insights.

Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy is essential when working with financial data to ensure that reports and models are reliable and actionable.

Software Knowledge

QuickBooks Experience: Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial data analysis and reporting is highly desirable.
