Job Position: Finance Clerk
Location: 100% Remote (Worldwide)
Salary: $15-25 USD per hour
Duration: Part-Time (25 hours per week)
Role Overview
As a Finance Clerk with Last Call Media, you will play a crucial role within our Finance, Operations, and Employee Experience team. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees and vendors, precise client invoicing, and meticulous financial record-keeping. This role requires familiarity with U.S. payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic accounting principles.
What You Will Do
- Process Management: Handle payroll, bills, checks, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Accuracy Assurance: Ensure all documents are properly signed, distributed, and compliant with financial regulations (e.g., GAAP).
- Data Entry: Maintain updated records and assist with account reconciliations.
- Communication: Interact with vendors, customers, and colleagues to address inquiries and resolve issues.
- Documentation: Record and report on account statuses and discrepancies.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of financial updates and industry trends to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to support complex financial tasks and projects.
What You Bring
- Experience: Proven track record as a Finance Clerk or similar role.
- Skills: Strong grasp of basic bookkeeping, financial transactions, and GAAP.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ethics: Reliable, with a strong work ethic and problem-solving abilities.
- Language: Fluent in spoken and written English.
