Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated SaaS Data Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping how we leverage data to drive strategic decisions and improve business performance. Key Responsibilities

1. Data Modeling & Structuring

Design and maintain scalable data models that will serve as the foundation for analytics and reporting.
Organize raw data into well-structured, easy-to-access formats to ensure smooth cross-departmental usage and collaboration.
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to optimize the architecture of our data pipeline.

2. Report Building & Insights

Develop interactive dashboards and detailed reports using Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau and Power BI to visualize key metrics and business insights.
Analyze business data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement across various departments (sales, marketing, finance, customer success).
Present actionable data insights that inform critical business decisions and enhance overall performance.

3. Collaboration

Act as a liaison between teams, understanding their data needs, and delivering tailored solutions to optimize business processes.
Work with different stakeholders to identify data-driven process improvements and strategic opportunities.
Provide regular updates to cross-functional teams, helping them use data to streamline workflows and achieve business objectives.

4. Data Quality & Governance

Implement best practices for data management to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all data sources.
Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, ensuring data is reliable and aligned with company objectives.
Work with engineering or IT teams to resolve any data-related issues promptly and efficiently.

5. Strategic Input

Convert complex data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations that drive key decisions.

Support leadership in the continuous improvement of company strategies by providing high-quality data insights.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a SaaS or subscription-based business model.
Proven ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights that drive business outcomes.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and reporting.
Extensive experience using BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI) to build visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or similar platforms.

Business Skills

A strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into tangible business outcomes.
Experience working with different business teams (sales, finance, marketing, etc.) to help them use data to enhance operations and performance.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and departments effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving issues.

Preferred Skills

Experience in building automated reporting pipelines to improve efficiency.
Familiarity with SaaS KPIs and how they can be used to monitor business performance and optimize growth.
