Emotive is looking for a rockstar Copywriter to join our team. You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content for our clients to achieve their business goals. How You Will Contribute

  • Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing goals.
  • Content Creation: Create grammatically clean long-form copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, calls-to-action, blog posts, etc.
  • Versatile Writing: Write in multiple styles and formats as required by client style and prospect personas.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other team members to ensure creative concepts, tactics, and copy align with client style, voice, messaging, and keyword strategy.
  • Client Impact: Positively impact client satisfaction, contributing to the agency’s goal of delivering a remarkable client experience and achieving client retention objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws such as copyright and data protection.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated with industry news and developments.

Skills You Will Bring

  • Professional Experience: Experience as a Copywriter for an eCommerce company.
  • Customer Interaction: Preferably experienced in working with external customers or in an agency setting.
  • Educational Background: BA/BS degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics to drive content marketing decisions.
  • Technical Insight: Knowledge of SEO and site architecture and a desire to create websites that showcase creative design accommodating content for organic ranking.
  • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Quick Learner: Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
  • Project Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks effectively.
  • Client Communication: Experience in successfully communicating with clients.
  • Feedback Responsiveness: Ability to take constructive criticism and seek out/act upon feedback.
  • Curiosity: Strong interest in learning about new industries.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Self-Management: Driven and motivated to succeed independently.
