Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Salary: N300,000 + Commission

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition: Identify, research, and target potential clients to purchase software products and services.
  • Sales & Deal Closure: Close business deals on software products and services, ensuring profitability.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive long-term engagement.
  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with sales teams to craft and present mutually beneficial proposals.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms with clients and ensure all contract details are clearly communicated to stakeholders.
  • Market Research: Gather actionable insights from customer feedback and competitor analysis to refine business strategies.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Track and manage a qualified prospect pipeline to drive business growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships that align with company goals and foster business expansion.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report on proposal statuses, sales metrics, and the overall progress of the business development strategy.
  • Technical Support: Answer customer questions about the company’s software products/services and provide technical assistance when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Education: B.Sc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years in business development and social media marketing within the software industry.
    • Proficiency in software development frameworks (e.g., JavaScript) is a must.
    • Proven experience in copywriting and writing persuasive sales pitches.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage clients and stakeholders.
    • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze situations and make sound business decisions.
    • CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite for efficient tracking and management of client information.
