Job Title: Accounting and Finance Senior Executive
Location: Remote (Work From Anywhere)
Role Overview
As the Accounting and Finance Senior Executive, you will play a key role in the financial operations of Binance, focusing on the Turkey and MENASA regions. You will collaborate closely with local and international Finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Collaborate with the local Head of Finance to deliver timely and precise financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for the Turkey and MENASA regions.
- Compliance: Ensure tax, legal, and financial compliance with local and international regulations.
- Project Leadership: Lead finance-related projects and actively engage in exchange license applications and regulatory reporting.
- Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting tasks such as bookkeeping of bank transactions, taxes, and personnel expenses.
- Invoicing: Raise customer invoices and manage the settlement process, liaising with customer support to resolve issues.
- Bank Relations & Treasury Support: Maintain relationships with banks as needed and support treasury functions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with shared service centers and global teams across finance, legal, and operations to meet financial objectives.
- Audit Support: Contribute to financial/internal audits and provide necessary documentation.
- System Development: Involve in system implementation and improvements, establishing finance policies and procedures.
- Internal Controls: Ensure robust internal controls align with Group Procedures.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Experience: Over 10 years in accounting and finance within multinational companies. A background in financial markets or audits is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in Turkish and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Logo Tiger, Netsuite, and electronic invoicing/ledger systems is advantageous.
- Risk Management: Strong ability to identify and manage risks.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinker who is committed, self-motivated, and quick to act.
- Crypto Knowledge: Familiarity and interest in cryptocurrency and financial services.
- Attention to Detail: Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with precision and responsibility.
