Job Position: Accountant
Location: Remote (EMEA or Eastern Americas Time Zones) or Office-based in London
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End Reporting: Assist in delivering timely and accurate month-end reports.
- Ledger Management: Take full responsibility for specific ledger processes aligned with your strengths.
- Year-End Audit: Support the year-end audit process and statutory reporting.
- IPO Preparation: Contribute to the finance team’s wider plans for IPO readiness.
- Process Improvement: Enhance financial processes and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share expertise with team members to ensure continuity.
- Skills Development: Continuously develop skills to stay updated on applicable standards and regulations.
- Relationship Building: Establish strong relationships with key colleagues outside the finance team.
Qualifications
- Academic and Professional Credentials: Exceptional academic track record, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, and qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, ACMA, CPA, etc.).
- Experience: Experience at a large public accounting firm or in a public multinational corporate accounting department preferred.
- Systems Knowledge: Experience with NetSuite or similar enterprise-grade systems.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to four times per year.
