We are looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to support the recruitment processes within Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. Key Responsibilities
As a Recruitment Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Recruitment Process: Oversee job postings, interview scheduling, and the onboarding process for candidates.
- Recruitment Advisory Support: Provide expert recruitment advice to managers and candidates while ensuring the adherence to NHS recruitment policies and procedures.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all recruitment processes follow NHS Employers guidelines, including the application of rights to work and certificate of sponsorship procedures.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed before candidates commence employment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide robust reporting on vacancy data, coupled with comprehensive analysis of vacancy activity.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to both candidates and managers, ensuring a positive recruitment experience for all stakeholders.
You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust in achieving their goal of a streamlined recruitment process that is efficient and compliant.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Proven experience in an office environment, ideally within an HR or recruitment context.
- Experience with recruitment and selection protocols in a large, complex organization.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and the full recruitment lifecycle.
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
