About the Role

As a Receptionist/Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing courteous and efficient administrative support for therapy inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Organizing and prioritizing daily workloads for seamless operation.

This is a Band 3 position under the Agenda for Change pay scheme, with a salary range of £29,485 to £31,088 per year (inclusive).

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for patients and visitors to therapy clinics.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Good educational background with GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications (NVQ Level 3).
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and the ability to manage workloads effectively.
  • Basic computer literacy with strong organizational skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Training in reception/customer service or relevant administrative fields.
  • Experience in NHS or healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and healthcare databases like ICHIS/Cerner/PAS.
