Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging with a focus on clinical safety and patient care.
- Perform or assist with MRI scans and Image Intensifier rotations.
- Monitor and maintain departmental stock and supplies.
- Conduct regular QA tests on equipment and participate in clinical audits.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to develop radiology procedures.
- Ensure patient safety, including implementing MRI and radiation protection protocols.
- Administer drugs, IV cannulations, and MR contrast media when required.
- Accurately enter data into radiology information systems and PACS.
- Participate in staff meetings to promote service improvements.
- Obtain and review MRI images following established protocols.
- Maintain and check MRI equipment functionality.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Understanding of patient care, confidentiality, and health and safety standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- DCR/BSc(Hons) Diagnostic Radiography qualification (preferred).
- HCPC registration or evidence of application in progress.
