About the Role

Pennine Care NHS Trust is seeking experienced and motivated Project Managers to join our team. This pivotal role supports the Community Transformation Programme, aligned with the NHS Long-Term Plan and Community Mental Health Framework. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering modern, integrated, and person-centered mental health services across Greater Manchester.

You will work closely with the Programme Director, Transformation Programme Manager, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of transformational change across the Trust and partner organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support projects under the Community Transformation Programme, including:
    • Development of Living Well models and governance structures.
    • Modernizing Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs).
    • Transitioning to the DIALOG+ framework and implementing Patient Reported Outcome Measures.
    • Designing new integration models with Adult Social Care.
  • Ensure projects align with the Trust’s Quality Improvement Framework.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, clinicians, and service users.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and briefing papers.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Project Management Qualification (e.g., PRINCE2 or equivalent).
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably in healthcare or mental health services.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and service redesign projects.
  • Strong understanding of mental health services within the NHS.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Additional Requirements:

  • Access to a car or reliable transportation for travel across Greater Manchester.
  • Ability to work flexibly based on the needs of the program.
